Application Procedure

To apply for the AP ration card you can follow the below-mentioned steps:-

Step 1- First of all visit the official website of the AP Civil Supplies Department. Click that link to directly land on the homepage of the website.

Step 2- Other than that you can also visit the meeseva portal directly.

Step 3- On the meeseva portal first of all register yourself. After registration, you will get your login credentials such as login ID and password.

Step 4- Now use those credentials and log in to the portal. After login get the application form to enter all the details in it.

Step 5- Attach all the required documents with the application form.

Step 6- After doing all this click on the submit button to submit the form. In the end, you will get a reference ID, keep that ID safely with you.

Since now the Ration Card in Andhra is replaced with the Rice Card so under this heading we will tell you the process to check its application status:- 

Step 1- To check the status of your Rice card first of all visit the official website.

Step 2- Now you will land on the homepage of the website. On the homepage visit the menu bar and click on the “Public Reports” option there. 

Step 3- Inside this “Public Reports” option click on the “AP Rice Card Status” option. This click will take you to a new page.

Step 4- On this new page, you will have to enter your Ration Card Number or Family Head Aadhaar Number. 

Step 5- After entering any of the above-mentioned details click on the “Submit” option. As you click on this option Rice card status will appear on your screen. You can view this status.

New AP Rice Card Eligibility

To run a scheme efficiently it is very necessary that only needy people should be benefited from it. Therefore we see that in most of the government schemes they declare certain eligibility criteria. Only a person who fulfills these criteria get to register under the scheme and take its benefits.

Similarly in the AP Rice Card scheme government has declared eligibility criteria. The authorities will do a survey and if they find somebody who doesn’t fit in the criteria they will exclude them from the beneficiary list. Following are the eligibility criteria for Rice Car:- 

1. The applicant should not have landholding more than 10 acres of dry land or 3 acres of wetland or 10 acres of both wet and dry land together.

2. To get the benefit of this scheme the applicant’s family should not own a 4 wheeler (Taxi, Auto, Tractors Exempted).

3. In the urban area the applicant family should not own a property of 750 sft built-up area.

4. If we talk about the income limit then the family’s total income should be less than Rs. 12,000/- per month in urban areas. Whereas in rural areas this income limit is Rs. 10,000 per month.

5. No member of the applicant’s family should be a pensioner (all sanitary workers are exempted.) or a Government employee.

6. 300 units are the limit of electricity consumption for the applicant family. A family who consumes more electricity than this is not eligible to apply for this scheme.

7. No member of the applicant’s family should be a taxpayer.

Procedure to Check the Beneficiary List

Andhra Pradesh government releases a list of beneficiaries of AP Rice Card. You can check this list online by following some simple steps. Following are those steps:-

Step 1- To check the beneficiary list visit the official website of Gramsachivalayam.

Step 2- Now on the homepage of the website select some details such as district, Mandal, and Secretariat Name.

Step 3- As you successfully select all this now you can view the beneficiary list. 

Procedure to do E KYC Online

Step 1- First of all visit the official website of SPANDANA. 

Step 2- After landing on the homepage of the website click on the “Login” option. You may find this option in the menu bar. 

Step 3- As you click on this option a login form will pop up on your screen. Select the user login option in this form.

Step 4- Now enter all the login details such as Aadhaar No. and captcha. At the end click on the “Get KYC OTP” button.

Step 5- This click on the Get OTP button will send an OTP on your registered mobile number. You will have to enter that OTP to complete the KYC process. 

Procedure to Print the Ration Card

Step 1- To print the ration card, you will have to visit the official government portal. 

Step 2- As you land on this website you will see a “print ration card” option in the middle of the webpage, click on it.

Step 3- Now a new page will appear on your screen. On this page enter your ration card number.

Step 4- After this, click on the “Print” button. This click will initiate the printing process on your system. 

Step 5- At the end collect the ration card from your printer.
